Ballet & Contemporary

Here at Big Time we start ballet from as young as 16 months and contemporary from age 7.

BALLET

Ages 16 months to 18 years

Children under 5 years, join Bella Ballet on her adventures in our weekly Petite Performers classes. Your child will learn lots of new skills like counting, balancing, coordination, taking turns and lots more. Watch as your Petite Performer’s confidence really does soar!
Our older ballet classes for ages 5 and above follow the Royal Academy of Dance classical ballet syllabus. The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is one of the world’s most influential dance education organisations. Examinations at each level are optional. BTA students will be given the opportunity to enter for exams from Year 2 onwards.

CONTEMPORARY

Ages 3 to 18

For children in school years 3 and above we offer ‘The Next Step’ dance classes which are inspired by the hit tv show. Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet.
